Hi, I’m Hadassah
I’m deeply passionate about understanding people and helping them feel truly seen. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked in a variety of roles in the mental health field that have shaped my approach and deepened my respect for each person’s unique story.
My life experiences—living in Indiana, Norway, Chicago, Denver, Ireland, and now Washington State—have broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to connect with people from many different backgrounds.
I love working with individuals who feel stuck and are ready for change, and I have a special interest in supporting those navigating complex trauma, recovering from high-control religious environments, living with chronic pain, and neurodivergent individuals.
My work is also informed by my own lived experience of growing up in a high-control religion and managing intense chronic pain, including daily migraines and neck pain for over a decade. Through pain reprocessing therapy (PRT) and emotional awareness and expression therapy (EAET), I was able to heal and am now pain-free. That experience profoundly shapes my work and fuels my passion for helping others who are experiencing neuropathic pain, offering both professional guidance and genuine understanding as they move toward relief and a fuller life.
My work is guided by an anti-racist framework, and rooted in providing affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
